Performing & Visual Arts  Professional Learning REACH  Social Studies

Following over a decade of teaching elementary through high school students and directing programs, Deb Lee joined District 205 in 2014. Her role is to support student and staff growth in:

  • Performing & Visual Arts curriculum and instruction;

  • Professional Learning through Institute Days, D205University, and partnerships with higher ed institutions;

  • REACH (gifted) programming and resources; and

  • Social Studies curriculum and instruction.

This is an exciting time in education with many interesting opportunities in the Arts, Professional Learning, Gifted, and Social Studies. District 205 is working to incorporate College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies and National Core Arts Standards, study REACH efforts and outcomes, as well as to enhance professional learning opportunities for staff.

Please review the District web pages for more information about curricular areas and programs, and contact Learning & Teaching with any questions.
