Computer Literacy

Overview and Resources

Grades EC - 12 - Technology is a tool to enrich and enhance the curriculum; not an end unto itself. Our teachers use a variety of technology to support, engage and bring meaning to learning.
Elementary School - In addition to a number of other online resources, Google Apps for Education (GAFE) is currently available to all grade 2 -5 students.
Middle School - A formal computer literacy curriculum exists for middle school students. During a six-week term for grade 6 and 7, students participate in a project based curriculum that focuses on specific skills and problem solving activities. Topics include:
  • Google Apps for Education (GAFE)
    • Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Draw, Forms, etc.
